IDEX Online Market Report – 02/04/09
The New York market continues its slow pick up. Goods of of 0.05 to 0.15 cts are increasingly in demand, as are 0.50+ carat fancy cuts, while carat sizes and larger in G-K / SI+ are in short demand as their prices stabilize. In Antwerp there were some demands for rough although buyers were not able to purchase too much owing to high prices. Nevertheless, traders regard it as a good sign. |
